Kolkata: The nostalgic and cultural brotherhood of the two parts of Bengal connects at Kolkata terminal. This station has the distiction for origination of two international trains Kolkata – Dhaka Maitree Express and Kolkata – Khulna Bandhan Express., One may enjoy the taste of spicy palatable food and tasty sweets of Bangladesh by boarding this train whereas the border is not very far but two parts of Bengal are still separated by the international boundary of two different countries.

Kolkata station has been developed as an international station with all amenities and facilities for the passenger.
